Grayson Crisis Center is now offering individual psychotherapy and trauma-informed group therapy for survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Sex Trafficking. Designed for individuals navigating life with a formerly abusive partner, the group will provide a safe, supportive environment to build practical coping and communication skills. Services support individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms, as well as preexisting or co-occurring concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, grief, and difficulties with emotional regulation or interpersonal relationships.
Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and expressive art interventions, clients will gain practical tools to support healing, resilience, and personal growth. Participants will learn to identify and establish healthy boundaries, strengthen communication skills, improve emotional regulation, reduce symptoms of stress and trauma, and develop effective coping strategies for daily life.
Therapeutic services also focus on increasing self-awareness, rebuilding self-confidence, enhancing safety and stability, and fostering healthier relationships in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.
