Current Needs:
Transportation Volunteer -
We are looking for someone with a clean driving record, who can pass a background check and is willing to go through required training to assist us in transporting clients to and from various appointments. The shift is a 3 hour minimum commitment, for at least 3 months. We are looking for Tuesday or Thursday early mornings in particular, and can discuss other availability.
Training/Commitment Requirement:
* Commitment Requirement: 3 months minimium commitment and shifts will vary depending on client needs
* Volunteer Training (10 hours min)
Sexual Assault Response Advocate Volunteer -
A SARA advocate is available 24/7 to accompany individuals to the hospital in the event of a sexual assault. Their role is to advocate for the victim, assist them in understanding the process, provide resources and support through the processes. SARA advocates are also available to individuals who are seeking support and assistance outside of the hospital setting.
Training/Commitment Requirements:
- Commitment Requirement: 6 month commitment, Shifts vary and may require longer hours
- SARA Volunteer Training (125+ hrs)
