Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner
The Crisis Center is looking for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners to provide timely medical/forensic examination of Sexual Assault/Forensic patients using a compassionate and victim sensitive approach. The position serves under the direction of the Grayson County SART team Medical Director and in cooperation with the on-duty E.D. physician as necessary by individual case presentation. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Texas, preferable minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Emergency, Pediatrics, or Maternal Health. Certification as an Adult and/or Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner from the Office of the Attorney General of Texas is preferable. Successful completion of at least one Advanced Assessment Skills Course such as: PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC expected. Part Time Advocate
The Crisis Center is accepting applications for a part-time Advocate position. This position works mostly weekends with some floating shifts for 24 hours per week. Part-time Advocates provide oversight and services to the residential and non-residential clients of the Crisis Center to include the intake and discharge processes, documentation, data collection, answering hotline calls, crisis counseling, emotional support and resources. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
The Crisis Center is accepting applications for Part-time and PRN Advocate staff. These jobs exist to provide advocacy and case management services to all Shelter Program participants and to provide coverage of the crisis line on weekends, holidays, and anytime full-time staff are unable to work. Advocates provide support and services to the residential and non-residential clients of the Crisis Center including the intake and discharge processes, documentation, data collection, answering hotline calls, crisis counseling, emotional support and resources.
